We're thrilled to share the momentum of our project and student work over this past year! PLAN has supported student leadership by growing our Atlas Zero Waste and Students Taking on Oil & Petrochemicals Fellowship, supporting the first campus in the country to fully #BreakFreeFromPlastic in dining, launching our new Certificate Courses to support campuses with proving zero waste's ROI, and continuing to refine our processes as a Worker Self-Directed Non-Profit.Read more about this work in our Fiscal Year 12 Impact Report. As always, our work is not possible with the support and investment of PLAN's network. Special shout-outs to our team & board, financial supporters, and all of the students & campuses we collaborated with this year. Your support is a testament to the power of a student-led movement for a more just and sustainable future. We can't wait to keep building with you all!

Our Big Movement Win

This effort was led by Atlas Zero Waste Fellow Linnea Goh '25, and was a huge win years in the making. In November 2019, COA was the first campus to commit to the Break Free From Plastic Pledge, successful in their commitment to eliminate single-use plastics by 2025. Read the full story here.
